Counterpart International is seeking a Civil Society Technical Associate for the USAID-funded ICSA-Tafa’aol program. This position will support the implementation of civil society strengthening activities under the guidance of the Technical Officer and Team Lead. The Civil Society Technical Associate will assist in identifying needs, supporting capacity-building initiatives for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and coordinating communication with partners and stakeholders.
The role requires strong organizational and time-management skills, a collaborative mindset, and a basic understanding of civil society dynamics and capacity-building concepts. The Civil Society Technical Associate will assist in preparing reports, documentation, and materials for internal and external meetings while ensuring compliance with USAID regulations and donor requirements.
This position provides an opportunity to contribute to advancing civil society in Iraq, with a particular focus on youth, women, and marginalized groups. Only local candidates will be considered for this position.
