Counterpart International is seeking a Director of Finance and Administration to oversee financial and operational management of the upcoming USAID Burundi Itongo Ryanje, Itunga Ryanje Activity. The overall objective of the Activity is to improve the livelihoods of women growers and small holders in Ngozi province, Burundi, and subsequently improve their ability to influence their family and community due to increased social status. The Activity will support land titling and certification, improve agricultural productivity and climate resilience, and increase women growers’ access to resources and markets.
The position will report to the Chief of Party. The Director of Finance and Administration will be responsible for all aspects of financial project management as well as coordination of all financial and operational activities. The director should have experience in the areas of financial management, accountability, negotiations, and auditing, as well as USAID rules and regulations.
