Counterpart International is currently seeking a Chief of Party to serve on an anticipated opportunity with USAID in Latin America. The anticipated project will seek to support Human Rights defenders by prioritizing local-level activities that foster accountable governance while reinforcing positive linkages among Human Rights Protecting Organizations. This is a full position based in Bogota, Colombia, and will serve the life of the project, which is expected to be 5-years.
The COP will be responsible for overall project leadership, management, technical direction and vision, oversight, quality, and compliance, and maintaining exceptional relationships with USAID and government and civil society stakeholders. The COP will be responsible for ensuring the timely submission and quality of all project deliverables. This position requires previous senior-level program leadership experience on USAID-funded or other donor supported projects. The position will collaborate directly with Counterpart’s HQ office.

Responsabilidades principales:
El Director del Proyecto será responsable del liderazgo general del proyecto, la gestión, la dirección técnica y la visión, la supervisión, la calidad y el cumplimiento, y de mantener relaciones excepcionales con USAID y las partes interesadas del gobierno y la sociedad civil. El Director del Proyecto será responsable de garantizar la presentación puntual y la calidad de todos los entregables del proyecto. Este puesto requiere experiencia previa en liderazgo de programas de alto nivel en proyectos financiados por USAID u otros donantes. El puesto colaborará directamente con la oficina central de Counterpart.
